Roblox. To call it a game is, in many ways, a misnomer since it’s a whole universe made up of millions of games created by other users. It arguably has something for everyone and offers great creative potential by enabling users to build their own worlds. 

Roblox has become one of the most popular online gaming platforms for children globally, with over 85 million daily active users worldwide and an estimated 40% under the age of 13. 

In Ireland, it is currently the most popular online environment for children aged 8-12. Our annual Trends & Usage Report, Left To Their Own Devices, which surveyed almost 6,000 primary school children in the academic year 2023/4, found that 40% play Roblox.
