Facebook as much of a threat as Huawei

The US has banned the Chinese company on the basis that it will use its hardware to spy, so it should do the same to the American social media giants, says Ngaire Woods.

THE United States and some of its allies have excluded the Chinese technology company Huawei from their markets, yet they continue to ignore the similar threat posed by Facebook and other US digital giants.
