As the end of the general election finally heaves into sight, as the ballot papers start flying and the votes get counted, does the great hive mind of the internet agree with the pollsters?
The most up-to-date election poll from Paddy Power and Red C, released at the start of the week, puts Fine Gael in the lead with 30%; giving Independents and others 28%; Fianna Fáil 20%; Sinn Féin 15%, and Labour 7%.
