Did you watch last night’s Election Special on RTÉ 2? 

There was praise for Keelin Shanley’s handling of the debate which took place at Facebook headquarters and the range of issues covered.

But, inevitably, it was this moment where Leo got a bit of a belt from an errant microphone that stood out to many.

Ouch.

There were… mixed sympathies for him on Twitter, however.

Lucky that microphone didn't hit Leo a bit harder, if he'd ended up in A&E he'd be doing well to be out by polling day #RTE2ElectionSpecial
