MUCH has happened in the small island of Bahrain since it was engulfed in the Arab Spring in Feb 2011.
A reasonable demand for a democratic constitutional monarchy and the recognition of human rights — not the downfall of the ruling regime, as in other Arab state rebellions — was the peaceful protest’s only goal.
