Take your seats for the royals’ return
THE wait is almost over. Just three more days until we are thrown back into a world of murder, backstabbing, plotting, revenge, betrayal and incest — and that’s just the women.
Game of Thrones (series two) starts on Monday and anyone who saw series one has been counting down the days til HBO and Sky Atlantic breathe life once more into the Seven Kingdoms and the fight for the Iron Throne. No character is safe, as seen when one of the stars of last year’s show, Sean Bean, who played moral hero Lord of Winterfell Eddard Stark and Hand of the King was beheaded in front of his two daughters and a baying crowd.
