A FINGERPRINT of Timothy Cunningham Junior was found on black tape stuck to a plastic bag full of sterling which was discovered during a search of the basement of his father’s house, the seventh day of the money-laundering trial has heard.

Timothy John Cunningham, aged 33, of Church View, Farran, Co Cork, faces four money-laundering charges arising out of the robbery of £26.5 million from the Northern Bank in Belfast on December 20, 2004.

His father, Timothy (Ted) Cunningham, aged 60, of Woodbine Lodge, Farran, Co Cork, faces 20 charges of money laundering. Both men deny all counts against them.
