Readers may have noted earlier this week that Cork is to get a taskforce.
Tadgh McNally reported this new body will be called the Cork City Futures Group. It will provide recommendations to Government on the future development of the city, ranging from improvements in foreign direct investment and local business to improving Cork’s cultural offerings. It will also review the existing city action plan and identify any barriers to progress.
