A couple of weeks ago I mentioned an encounter someone in my house had with a cyclist who was ignoring the rules of the road. Paying no attention to the strictures of polite society. Chaos. Anarchy.

One or two cyclists have raised the matter with me in the intervening period, and in vain have I replied: why, some of my best friends, and etc.
