Man accused of threatening to kill woman serving food at Cork Penny Dinners

Flavio Andrade, aged 33, of Shamrock Place, College Rd, Cork, appeared before Cork District Court where the alleged facts of the case were outlined.

Cork Penny Dinners was the location for an alleged death threat to a woman serving lunches and now a District Court Judge has said the case is too serious for her to accept jurisdiction.

The matter will go back to the Director of Public Prosecutions. Defence solicitor Frank Buttimer said there would be a plea of guilty to the threat charge before it reached Cork Circuit Criminal Court.
