A guilt-tripping form of activism has taken root here in Ireland. I call it “guiltivism”. The guiltivist belongs to the “you’re not doing enough” brigade. Or, even worse, the crew of “you’re not doing as much as me”.
It’s everywhere. One guiltivist will post that we need to “do” more. Comments will follow. “Thank you for standing up for humanity.” Or, “I only wish there were more like you.”
