Few of you will have gone to the 2002 Al Pacino movie Simone, and there’s a pretty good reason for that. 

It is mediocre fare, indicative of Pacino’s mid-career proclivity for the utterly forgettable, the first in a run of films that included The Recruit, Two for the Money, and Gigli.
