White has more heavyweight opponents to trade deal

Irish Examiner columnist Victoria White is right as far as she goes regarding TTIP. 

However she is out of date in that another opponent of the deal, with a bit more influence than Darina Allen, is no less than the president of France, François Hollande, who has recently come out totally against the deal and it is now, if not dead, at least in need of life-support.

The ironic thing is that TTIP is a huge issue in the US presidential elections right now. Whatever else you say about Donald Trump, he is against the deal and, even more ironically, the candidate furthest away from him on the political spectrum, Bernie Sanders, is too.
