We’d like to hear all the post-abortion stories

I am always struck by those who want to repeal the 8th Amendment because they think this is best for women.
We’d like to hear all the post-abortion stories

We never hear women who regret their abortions pushing for repeal for that reason. Come to think of it, we rarely hear from women who regret their abortions at all, yet the women who run abortion recovery groups say they can hardly keep up with the demand for places on their courses.

Why is this? Why have women who regret their abortions somehow fallen into a silent group? Why are they not encouraged to come forward and tell their stories? Why, when the subject of abortion regret comes up, is it always shot down with a comment that “those women are in the minority”.
