Some years ago, I disposed of my profitable shares. I did so because of CRH involvement with Nesher Cement, an Israeli company that supplied materials for the building of the illegal Israeli ‘separation wall’ and for illegal Israeli settlements on Palestinian land.

In a discussion with CRH representatives, I explained that I could not, in conscience, use my savings to support projects that resulted in the suffering and oppression of Palestinians. The CRH personnel expressed their understanding and we agreed that my investments in the company should cease, unless and until its involvement with Nesher Cement ceased completely.
