Find your new pet at your local animal shelter

As Christmas day approaches, many people will be thinking of buying a cat or a dog as a gift.

Ireland has one of the highest number of such

animals on death row unless they are lucky to be in the care of animal charities.

If people were to look for an animal at such organisations instead of buying animals from moneymaking breeders it would create more

space in animal charities so they could give more animals reprieves from death row.
