Fianna Fáil will not be entering coalition with SF

I refer to the article in the Irish Examiner by Gerard Howlin on December 16 last in relation to the upcoming general election and voter’s risk-averse continuity.

In this article there is a suggestion of a possible coalition between Fianna Fáil and Sinn Féin.

I want to assure you and your readers that there will be no such coalition.

I have said this numerous times and I will keep saying it. Fianna Fáil is a party of the centre and not a party of protest.

We fundamentally disagree with Sinn Féin’s economic and business polices and we simply do not trust them either.

Fianna Fáil will not be entering coalition with Sinn Féin.

I hope this clarifies the position once and for all.
