Aeroplanes are as much of a threat as turbines

I cannot understand why Ms Buckley claims that nobody knew that two wind turbines were to be erected in Boolard, Co. Cork (Irish Examiner, November 3). I knew about it and I know several other local people know about it as well.

People are being whipped up into hysteria about turbines and this hysteria will cause health problems.

Why is Rathnacally mentioned because that’s four kilometres from Boolard. There is no more threat to livestock from turbines than there is from planes and helicopters flying overhead.
