Coppinger must learn to take her medicine

Olivia Kelleher (‘Abortion bus controversy’, Irish Examiner, October 26) reports that Ruth Coppinger, TD, has expressed her disgust at the pro-life protesters who chanted as she made a speech when the abortion bus rolled into Cork.

I firmly believe in free speech, but find that Ruth Coppinger and her Anti-Austerity Alliance Party colleagues, who regularly advocate for acts of civil disobedience, appear unwilling to take the same medicine they like to dish out from those with whom they disagree.
