The Munster final should not be axed

I was astonished to read the opinion of the former chairman of the Munster Council, Sean Fogarty, on the Munster Football Championship.
The Munster final should not be axed

He focussed on the earlier games but the final itself is a wonderful occasion in the GAA calendar and would be a massive loss to the prestige of the GAA and to all followers of Gaelic football in Ireland.

Another factor is the economic loss. The biggest day of the year in Killarney is a Munster Final. Dont throw the baby out with the bath water. Retain the Munster Final if you meddle with the championship.
