Céilí strikes the perfect chord at The Lough

I had the pleasure of attending “Céilí Cois Locha” at The Lough this summer. Oh God — what a session.

Céilí strikes the perfect chord at The Lough

Everyone aged five to 85 stepping it out to ‘The Walls of Limerick’, ‘The Siege of Ennis’, ‘Two Hand Reels’ etc. I would like to thank the musicians who I assume are all volunteers and who were giving so freely of their time and wonderful music. After what I saw, I know I’ll be spending a lot of time at The Lough next summer when the organisers of “Céilí Cois Locha” are back to host this spectacular event — a big thanks to all involved.
