Open doors to all who want to live in harmony

It is not by chance that the migrant crisis might ease off, but a roaring certainty that it will increase rapidly throughout Europe, like a tsunami.

Open doors to all who want to live in harmony

We in Ireland were caught flat-footed, and so were the EU.

The dogs in the street knew what the upshot of those wars would be.

Every day, events complicate the picture and the picture will keep deteriorating until the politicians get their act together.

Even today we only have something half-baked and no leadership.

Why didn’t our Government put a further group into the Sycamore Room specifically to deal with the crisis? But alas, Government parties are only concentrating on winning an election.

Rural areas need to make a bigger effort. This country should be the shining city on the hill.

We should be welcoming people in, not shutting them out.

If there are to be walls, then the walls should have doors, and the doors should be open to anyone who wants to live in harmony and peace.
