RTÉ needs to expand focus of news coverage

Why we are subject to the same TV news from RTÉ at 6pm and 9pm?

I suggest that a prominent slot at 6pm should be given to real regional news.

At the moment, all we hear about is Dublin-based news or Dáil Eireann news.

Also do we need two newscasters?
