Raising awareness of cancer - Ignorance can be fatal to men

A CAMPAIGN to raise awareness of male-specific cancers has been launched by VHI Healthcare in association with the Men’s Cancer Alliance.

It is a laudable and much-needed response to the shocking reality that most men in Ireland have an appalling disregard for their own wellbeing and safety.

When it comes to life threatening conditions like cancer, ignorance is far from bliss; indeed, it can kill.
