Landlords speculate on basic needs of others

Stephen Faughnan of the Irish Property Owners Association (IPOA), tells us “71% of landlords have insufficient income from their rental property to cover the mortgage repayment. This is an appalling statistic and unsustainable”. (Irish Examiner, Letters, August 19)

Does Mr Faughan really need someone else to tell him what he and his “property owning” fellows should do about that?

What about getting a real job and stop with the speculating on the basic needs of their fellow citizens?
