Dublin hospital would pay for two elsewhere

The new children’s hospital is to be in Dublin. What a surprise! This hospital is a surrender to the voters of Dublin and has very little to do with the comfort or convenience of sick children.

It is a national disgrace that this hospital is accepted by the people of Ireland in the most congested city in Ireland, not only creating further stress on its attendants but also adding to the concentration of traffic already there. This is what you get from a visionless and spineless government who cannot see beyond their fat salaries.

The €650 million would put two strategic efficient hospitals out in the regions and would relieve overcrowding in the Dublin hospitals.
