We need to talk about donor sperm and eggs

Thank you Victoria White for your article (Irish Examiner, July 23) on the use of donor sperm and eggs.

I am surprised that more people of influence haven’t expressed their dismay at such a practice. Surely, to intentionally create a human being who will never have a full record of his or her ancestry is wrong.
