Right to life is the most fundamental human right

Amnesty International seems to view abortion as a human right. Not so.

Right to life is the most fundamental human right

“The right of man and the right of God” said Wolfe Tone. Human rights come from the hand of God to each of us. There is a natural hierarchy of such rights. The universal right to life is the most fundamental as without it, all other rights are redundant.

Amnesty has fought fearlessly against the death penalty worldwide yet it urges an extension of the death threat to the unborn. This creates a crucial credibility gap.

Founding father of the organisation, Seán MacBride, never advocated abortion. The statesman must be spinning in his grave.
