Catholic Church should allow priests to marry

After the recent Irish referenda, may I suggest to the Catholic Church that they should have two referenda. The first should be to let priests marry, or at least to give up celibacy, whether they are straight or gay.

The second referendum should be to let women become priests.

If these two referenda were passed, there would be a long queue to join the priesthood.
