The Carlow/Kilkenny by-election result suggestions something the opposite.

Over 50% of the electorate there voted for the continuance of inequity and unfairness. They voted for cronyism, regressive taxation, taxes levied without ability-to-pay protection, water charges that will force many to ration and for the ever widening socioeconomic gap and much more.
