Dun Laoighaire’s urban beach will be a ‘Blackpool’

Congrats to the planners in securing permission for the construction of the ‘urban beach’ in Dun Laoghaire harbour, which will include a full bar, dressing rooms, and toilets. 

Shame on all those journalists, residents and members of the ratepayers’ association who oppose the development. Will those business people refuse cash from the many thousands of young people who flock to these new attractions? Happy days ahead, as Dun Laoghaire provides us all with our own ‘Blackpool’. Well done to Dun Laoghaire Harbour Company and the County Council’s Business Improvement District Scheme.
