Lady Luck smiles

Yesterday we reported on a father-and-son visit to the Nike flagship sports store in London where eight year-old schoolboy Seán Reddy’s potential was highlighted when he used the store’s golf stimulator. Staff immediately spoke to his father Simon and involved the surprised Cork duo in a campaign with world number one Rory McIlroy to promote golf around the world.
Only time can tell if young Seán really has the potential to reach golf’s higher echelons, but the seed has been sown and the challenge laid down for him and his supporters.
