O’Rourke should not be allowed speak at enquiry

The prospect of Mary O’Rourke and other ex-Fianna Fáil politicians being allowed to distort banking history by relating ‘dúirt se liom go nduirt sé leis? ’ to an already warped banking enquiry is extremely worrying.

O’Rourke should not be allowed speak at enquiry

It must be treated with the utmost scepticism and I’m not at all taking from the integrity of the late Brian Lenihan. Mary et al should set out in writing what they allege Lenihan related to them, put it in a sealed envelope and post it to the enquiry, to be opened only after all witnesses have given evidence, lest the banking enquiry turn into a complete farce.
