Drink should be banned at sporting games

Considering the ban on consumption of alcohol in public on the streets, why does he not legislate for similar bans on consumption outdoors at sporting games? The GAA is to be complimented for their voluntary ban on alcoholic drink at their grounds

If other sports do not voluntarily follow suit, then it should be banned by legislation. It would be a small step in the right direction, considering under-age young people are in the attendance at these sports.
