Croke Park residents were never kept in dark about concert dates

I refer to the article ‘Croker residents in the dark’ about concert plans’ (Irish Examiner February 11) and I wish to correct misinformation within the piece.

A meeting was held on October 28, chaired by the Lord Mayor of Dublin in the Mansion House, and attended by TDs, councillors and members of nine local residents groups.

Croke Park advised that there would be an announcement later that week of one concert date for June 20. The following Friday, October 31 the stadium communicated to the local community that the Script would be playing in Croke Park on Saturday, June 20, 2015.
