Irish Examiner’s tone and balance to be applauded

Congratulations on both your opinion piece (Irish Examiner, February 10) and the tone and balance of yesterday’s edition.

I do not necessarily agree with your editorial’s conclusions, but you are to be applauded for your balance, which provides readers with a rational and informed view of the world.

This approach contrasts sharply with that of your two main daily competitors: the ‘Old Lady’s’ agenda slip is always visible and her raucous Dublin sister’s screechings should carry a compulsory health warning.
