Let’s bottle Irish Water and sell it across Europe

Travellers to the hotspots of Europe will notice that all drinking water comes from plastic bottles. With our plentiful supply of the raw fresh product seeming to incessantly fall from our skies, an opportunity presents itself.

Let’s bottle Irish Water and sell it across Europe

Irish Water could self-finance itself by bottling and exporting water to all of the EU countries. It could afford to repair the network and even anticipate profits in a few years without bothering the citizens here who pay for this water already through myriad taxes.

Indeed, a second company called Irish Plastics could be set up with EU funds to make the bottles for export.

If our European cousins like our Irish bars and whiskey so much they’ll love our clean fresh water.

All it takes is a little joined up thinking.
