Israel is more theocracy than democracy

On reading the recent letter by Derek O’Flynn of the Israeli embassy staff, I am reminded of the fact that Israel is a state self-declared for Jews only.

Israel is more theocracy than democracy

It is not a democracy, it is a theocracy and has a history of racism. For example in 2011, the Israeli Ministerial Council extended the ban on family reunification for Palestinians married to Israelis. According to their law, Palestinians married to Israeli spouses are not granted residency and Arab /Palestinian spouses are not allowed to live in Jerusalem or Israel.

Speaking on Gaza, John Ging the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) representative said “the problem is the destruction of a civilised society where 80% of Gazans are dependent on food aid, with water and sewerage on the brink of crisis. Their housing has been destroyed. They are not terrorists or violent people. They are a deeply civilised people, not withstanding the provocative nature and injustice of their circumstance. They want to live in dignity”.
