The water-charge controversy seems to be coming to a head. Public protests are gathering momentum and could be the ‘watershed’, (excuse the pun) the way to get the message to this government that enough is enough.

Water-charge protests show we are at saturation point

People who were well-off or comfortable have woken up to find they are no longer so. They can now see through the spin and the ‘muddy waters’.

They want action and change.

The poor and not-so-well-off have been shouting at deaf ears since the banking crisis and since the policy of austerity was introduced.
