Girls make boys ‘stupid’

I recently saw a letter on this page (Irish Examiner, September 23) debating why girls perform much better than boys in exams.

The reason is obvious: girls. Adolescent boys are infinitely more interested in girls than in maths or science or boring old history. It has always been so, and always will be. As the French say: “vive la différence”.
