Successful cycle event

Credit is due to all those people who took part in the Ring of Kerry cycle charity event last weekend with €1.2m-plus raised for the various charity organisations.

It’s heart warming to read about such events which hightlight the generosity of the Irish in these days of austerity. Once again, as in the past, our Taoiseach did his part. From the various TV interviews I could not help but notice that the usually trim looking Mr Kenny was decidedly rotound around the waist. No austerity there, methinks, but living off the fat of the land.
