I was sorry to read your article "No plans to examine fluoride in public water, despite promise" (June 16).

We need to change attitude to fluoridisation of water

We need specialists in toxicology (effects of chemicals,) oncology (cancer), neurology (nervous system), endocrinology (hormones) and epidemiology (when looking into the compulsory dosing of everyone with fluoride chemicals. Countless studies found health damage from fluoridation.

But some dentists are now breaking ranks and my own dentist said “fluoride is a poison.” Fluoride waste is too toxic for industry to dump on land or sea, yet the authorities think it’s safe for people’s kidneys to filter it. It’s expensive to get rid of fluoride waste.
