Reduce the pressure on exam students

My good wishes and prayers to the 60,000 students sitting their examinations at this time.

It is a tough time for them, mentally, physically and academically. A time to have a caring approach and not to exert pressure.

The pressure placed on students is intolerable but even worse is the kind of hype and nonsense which surrounds the whole process. Today high achievers across the country are acclaimed in the media, as if they were celebrities. Students who attain outstanding results will be hailed as heroes while those who have worked equally hard, if not harder and who gained less spectacular results find their achievements are ignored on the modern altar of success.
