Drained of our money

I am in despair. The citizen will be obliged to pay for another pointless ‘quango’ of expensive consultants and a colossal, futile construction scheme.

Drained of our money

Dublin’s water shortages are due to wholesale wastage and massive leaks. We don’t need consultants to tell us that. The idea of extracting and pumping water from Lough Derg, uselessly, to flow into drains and then into the Irish Sea, is little short of lunacy — except, of course, for the closed circle of an elite clique who will make fabulous profits from it.
