We’ve been sold a pup on climate change

The next time your readers are putting a lump of coal on the fire, having paid their carbon tax, they might bear in mind that their carbon footprint according to the information been feed to us, is contributing towards global warming.

Or should we use the new catchphrase ‘global change’ which is now in use since the Emissions Trading Scheme in an effort to make us all poorer.

As oil runs out, the capitalists scramble aboard the gravy train to try and extract even more money from our empty purses, which were already pilfered by the banks and political capitalists shouting global warming and democracy in their efforts to control energy.

The truth is they have sold us a pup. The ash emissions from the Icelandic volcanic eruption put more carbon into the atmosphere in four days than we the human race have in five years. And it is well to bear in mind that there are 200 active volcanoes spewing emissions at any one time every day.

Bush fires across the USA and Australia this year alone will negate our efforts to reduce carbon in the world for the next three years, and this happens every year, not to mention other fires across the globe. It’s been happening since man appeared on earth.

Some hard questions must be asked. Are we getting the full picture? Are there agendas other than the health of the earth or is it to the wealth of the earth their attention is now turned?
