No to anti-Semitism

Minister for Justice Alan Shatter is a person I find to be supercilious in manner and grating to listen to, and recent political controversies didn’t do much to ingratiate him to our citizens.

However, I was dismayed to read that anti-Semitic material had previously been sent to his Department and more recently that a white substance was sent to his home.

Regardless of one’s opinion of Mr Shatter, it is important that we in Ireland send out a clear message that we will not tolerate anti-Semitism in this country.
