Consulting consultants

Our political system is so inadequate it would be better to invite a cross-section of consultancy firms to apply for membership of Dáil Eireann and vote for the ones most likely to benefit the nation.

When our elected representatives abdicate their responsibilities it’s an admission of incompetency. A classic example is the Department of Energy commissioning a US consultancy firm to advise us as to whether Ireland should have an oil refinery.
