Unite against the ECB

“Fine Gael TDs relieved at Peter Mathews departure,” reports Michael O’Kane (Irish Examiner, Oct 4). They were relieved when George Lee left, as well.

Unite against the ECB

In 2006, Lee was warning that the boom was based on cheap, easy credit, unlike Enda Kenny, who called for lower taxes and lower stamp duty. Mr Mathews realised early that the EU/IMF bailout was a “stitch-up,” as he described it to Examiner readers (25/11/11).

Left-wing politicians have been campaigning since the bailout about how our economy is being destroyed. It’s only a matter of time before a right-wing anti-ECB/anti-austerity alliance forms in Leinster House. It matters not if you believe in socialism or capitalism — more and more people are realising that the ECB are ripping us off. On this issue, left and right will soon unite.
