Regarding John Fogarty’s piece about Kevin Heffernan (Aug 29) was there ever a better Dubliner?

The great Kathleen Mills from Inchicore really takes some beating, 15 All-Ireland senior medals for her native county.

The maestro from Cloyne (need I name him?) once said he would have feared playing against her. Thank God I saw all three playing, but my native city really needs to honour more of the women who have graced it down through the years.
