Labour and Fianna Fáil are puppet parties
Over the last number of years I have become interested in politics and the make-up of political parties. Reading all their histories, you would believe that in fact both parties are at total ends of the political sphere, but in reality they are more similar than we think.
The old Labour party of James Larkin and &James Connolly is unquestionably dead in the grave. The now ‘Nouveau Labour’ of Sean Sherlock and Alan Kelly’s type of politician would rather shuffle in their shoes than stand up for the real issues people have. Instead they allow the Hogans and O’Reillys to become their puppet masters and unfortunately, subsequently Europe.
Fianna Fáil through many years in government allowed the bankers and property developers to become their puppet masters and they bowed to the elite faction of people reeking of Mercedes and champagne.
Neither Fianna Fáil nor Labour have proven to hold any backbone or strength and will quite happily plod along with hands out for their own self-interest.
Fianna Fáil has proven this with their corrupt payments and the Labour party with their hefty pensions and salaries. There is no longer any difference in their policies and, unfortunately, it is us, the ordinary public, whose purses are robbed to facilitate this facade. We must all now become more vigilant and never allow either to enter government again as we cannot allow corruption and self-interest to continue in Irish politics.
